Jeder, der schon mal mit einem Gleitschirm geflogen ist, weiß, wovon ich hier singe.
Wer nicht, der wird vielleicht ahnen können, wie geil das Fliegen ist.
Ich kenne nur ein einziges Gefühl, das noch besser ist... ;-)

We're taking so much care of business

But when we're going out to fly
To see the world from up above now

And we're aware of the thing we love now

We take off and it seems to me
Like we were born just to fly

Down on earth
We're leavin' all of our anxiety
When we slide into the bright new day
Feelin' free like birds of prey
Just a piece of cloth above us
And some lines to hold us there
We've got one big wing that hovers
And carries us away through the air

We take off into the clear blue day

Once we're up
We learn about the meaninglessness
of the so called 'most important things'
As we've been carried away by our wings
World's trouble, all the fears
And almost everything appears
so far away from me and you
so very small from our points of view

We take off and it seems to me

Back down again
feel like I could fly forever
love the live I've left behind
for an hour just to feel that peace of mind
With the earth so far down below me
Just like someone wants to show me
How peace and freedom really feel
How love and mindfullness can get real
