Well, J.J. keep on playin' your Blues.

I know of a man, livin' down in Oklahoma
Singin' the Blues and playin' the guitar
Ramblin' 'round with a travellin' band
All he ever needs is a guitar in his hands
One single chord could be fairly enough
To play good music and to make it hot stuff
Like hangin' around in the lounge for a while
And playin' the guitar in his very own style
Hey Mr. J.J. - tell me what's the Blues about
Nobody else could sing it like you
No one could be playin' the guitar like you do
Hey, Sir J.J. - don't you ever stop playin' your Blues
to me
Fame in this world is not a thing he would miss
He never gives a damn about the big music biz
All he ever does is to play his own songs
In this laid back style he never could be wrong
His music is the world and the shape he's in
Just from one single note you could recognize it's him
Cause it sounds so cool and it burns so hot
Like simmering soup in a big boiling pot
Hey Mr. J.J. - tell me what's the Blues about
Nobody else could sing it like you
No one could be playin' the guitar like you do
Hey, Sir J.J. - don't you ever stop playin' your Blues
He grew up with the music in Tulsa Town
People love his songs and they like this sound
His beautiful music makes them sing and dance
Influenced musicians in its very own sense
He writes his own songs and plays the guitar
But he never had ambitions to become a big star
He never wants to be another man than he is
Blowing down the road - and they call him the breeze
Hey Sir J.J. - tell me what's the Blues about
Nobody else could sing it like you
No one could be playin' the guitar like you do
