In dem Song geht es um einen Menschen, der das ganze Leben kein Glück hat. Alle Versuche aus seiner Misere zu kommen scheitern. Das Scheitern ist jedoch nicht seine Schuld, sondern dem Umfeld in dem er sich befindet geschuldet. Mit jeder Anstrengung etwas zu ändern zieht er sich mehr in den Abgrund. Ein Entkommen aus dieser Spirale ist ihm nicht möglich.
