Update 23.11.2025:
So, ich denke, der Song ist jetzt am Ziel. Keine zischelnden S-Laute mehr, die Drums sind lauter/druckvoller und Stefanos Solo ist jetzt sehr gut eingebettet.
Den größten Unterschied macht natürlich der neue Bass, den Dieter Seeburg aka seebass beigesteuert hat. Der ist knurrig, hat Drive und bringt den Song noch mal ein ganzes Stück nach vorne. Für mich ist es eine ganz neue Erfahrung und auch eine Ehre, seebass mit an Bord zu haben - vielen lieben Dank. Dieter!

„Into The Twilight“ stammt aus dem Jahr 2013 und war ursprünglich eine Collabo zwischen Lisa Gill, Reiner Wendland und mir. Leider konnte ich Reiners Spuren von damals nicht wiederfinden – vermutlich habe ich sie versehentlich gelöscht. Hat mich doch etwas traurig gemacht, dass die Dateien von damals unwiederbringlich verloren sind.
Reiners Rhythmusgitarre konnte ich ganz gut rekonstruieren, sie ist auf dem rechten Kanal zu hören. Das Solo im Intro stammt von mir, das in der Songmitte von meinem Bruderherz Stefano, der einige technische Kabinettstückchen vorführt – weiß noch nicht so genau, ob mir das nicht fast ein bisschen zu viel ist! :-D
Auch Text und Gesang sind neu. Für Lisa war der Song doch etwas tief angesetzt, für meine Stimme ist er jedoch genau richtig. Der Text kreiste ursprünglich um so eine Art Vampir-Romantik, jetzt habe ich einige philosophische Gedanken eingewoben, die man etwa bei Hölderlin und Goethe wiederfindet.
Irgendwie ist der Song eine Art „Hidden Champion“. Vielleicht noch nicht ganz am Ziel, aber ich wollte ihn auf jeden Fall schon mal präsentieren.
Wer vergleichen möchte: Den Song von damals gibt’s auch einmal bei mir und einmal bei Reiner, mit einer völlig anderen Instrumentierung.
