In a time where rappers and singers are rapping and singing over recycled beats, one artist is taking it upon his self to resurrect good music, by being simply, original. From the beats to the lyrics to the production, everything this artist touches is simply remarkable. Making music in multiple genres like RnB and Hip-Hop, this artist is blessed with a talent that the world has rarely seen before. Who is this artist of which I’m speaking? STAMINA (aka K.D.) Stamina was born in a small town in Germany on November 2nd, 1988. The star resided all over germany for a good portion of the first 13 years of his life before coming to the United States of America for the first time. “When I came to the US I really didn’t know how to speak English, but with the help of my teacher I picked it up in 3 weeks…no lie.” Stamina always had a dream of one day becoming a music star, but never had the tools, resources, or the money to do it. “ I grew up by myself basically…didn’t have a dad and moms was always working overtime to pay the bills.” Stamina was struggling trying to make his way through life one day at a time while also trying to provide for his brothers and sisters. In 2004 Stamina grew tired of DREAMING about being an artist and took action towards making his dream become reality. He made, what was at the time, a major investment into a condenser mic and a laptop from some money he had saved up over the years for college. Using nothing but those 2 items Stamina decided to try his hand at making his first song (“Hit Me Up”) which would turn out to be a instant classic. Once the song was mastered he quickly began the burning and distribution process at his High School. People began to love the new style that stamina was rapidly pushing out so in 2005 Stamina released his first album “Reality Check” which sold a whopping 5000+ copies which was a major milestone for the young artist. The next 3 years were spent recording new singles and doing shows for many labels including Universal Records. Then, in 2008 Stamina released his sophomore Album “Guaranteed Satisfaction” featuring Hit singles like “Sex Me” and “I Can Be,” under his own label RnR.
