Sunny African Sky
He was a very lucky guy
under the sunny african sky.
He wasn´t rich but had a lot:
he got his wife his child his job.
Then, soon, there was another war.
I ask myself why was it for?
His wife, his child and friends were shot
´cause they believed in a wrong god.
The only chance to get out of hell
was once a flight just far away.
Though he knew he couldn´t stay
he decided to come back someday.
He really loved his land, his place.
And before he stepped into the plane
he turned his head and the last time
he sniffed that sunny african sky.
And so I´m asking you my friend
living here in promised land.
Why can´t you reach him your hand?
Make beginning to the end.
