Neulich hab ich zufällig das hier gesehen und gehört:

Patterson war ein Pastor und Prediger.
In dem Film fiel mir auf, wie groovig und rhythmisch er seine Predigt vorträgt.
Im Kopf lief schon ein fertiger Song dazu. Also den Film in WAV umgewandelt, mit AI die Orgel rausgeschmissen, einen Beat gebaut und Harmonien, die einigermaßen zum Durchschnitt seiner Tonlage passen. Und den anderen ganzen Elektrokram ....
Timingmäßig kann man den Typen auf den Song legen wie man will.
Der liegt mit seinen Betonungen einfach immer im Timing. Trotzdem die ausdrucksstarken Silben seiner Sätze auf die musikalisch-rhythmischen Akzente gelegt.
Die Idee an sich ist natürlich nicht neu. Mich hat Patterson aber einfach fasziniert.
Nicht inhaltlich. Ich bin sowas von "ungläubig".
Aber wie er sein Publikum auf Welle bringt, find ich saugut.
Und wie er ab Mitte des Songs sich immer weiter reinsteigert. Einfach geil.
