Schon sehr früh machte der gebürtige Braunschweiger durch Breakdance, DJ-ing und seiner damaligen Hip-Hop Combo "License to Rhyme" auf sich aufmerksam. Wie damals noch sehr wenige Rapper, hatte Cappuccino keine Scheuklappen auf und so auch kein Problem damit, sich mit dem Thema "Rap gepaart mit Jazz" auseinander zu setzen. So stieß er 1993 zur Jazzkantine. Mit dieser Band spielte er bis Dato über 700 Gigs, rappte auf 6 Studio-Alben und zahlreichen Singles inkl. Video-Produktion. Der Echo der Jazz-Award und das Goldene Ohr bestätigten die Qualität der Band. Unter dem Namen "Tanzzkantine" und "Tanzzkantine-Space" stand er später mit der Jazzkantine auf der Bühne des Braunschweiger Staatstheaters und legte als "Till Eulenspiegel" in dem Stück "Braunschweich-Braunschweich" im gleichen Theaterhaus nochmal eins drauf und spielte im letzten Stück "Ölper 12 Pöints" gleich 4 verschiedene Rollen auf einmal.
Seine Solo-Pfade führten ihn darüber hinaus zu bisher 4 Studio-Alben und mehrerer Single-Produktionen die ihm, unter anderem, eine Goldene Schallplatte, RSH-Gold für den besten Deutschen Rap-Act 1998, den Titelsong zu Till Schweigers Kinofilm "Der Eisbär" und einen Tour-Support für die Amerikanische R&B-Band "Dru Hill" bescherten. TV-Auftritte bei Harald Schmidt, Stefan Raab, Verona Feldbusch, Oliver Geißen, Verbotene Liebe sowie Moderationen bei VIVA und MTV ließen nicht lang auf sich warten und die zusammenarbeit mit verschiedensten Künstlern,Bands und Filmemachern (House of Riddim,Knut Knutson,Söhne Mannheims,Yah Sesco,Timo-Rose-Film) wurde ausgeweitet. Ferner produzierte er sein 4.tes Album allein und gründete mit seinem Partner Christian Spilles das "Studio-38" das sich im Jahre 2004 mit der Party- und Booking-Agentur "Itsblack" unter der Leitung von Andre Vaternam vereinte.Von dort aus produzierte man Künstler wie Ramean,Hannibal,38-Streettape und organisiert nun seit über 2 Jahren erfolgreiche R&B und Hip-Hop-Events.
Zusammen mit der Band "Jammin*Inc" brachte er 2005 das kostenlose Debut-Album "Mit Anlauf" unter der Creative-Commons-Lizens heraus (download www.jammin-inc.de) , spielte mir ihr 2006 vor "Gentleman" und auf dem Chiemsee-Reggae-Festival und kam unter die letzten 3. des Rio-Reiser-Songpreis-Contest 2006. Derzeit feilt er am 2.ten kostenlosen Deustch-Rap-Sampler, der mit einer 250 Auflage und zum kostenosen Download über www.itsblack.com ab dem 24.12.2006 vertrieben wird und produziert 2 Solo-Alben die ab Mitte/Ende 2007 erhältlich sind.

Inspired by "Jazzmatazz" he became a member of a band called "Jazzkantine". With this German Jazz/Rap-Group he`d recorded 6 Lp`s, played more than 600 Shows and has earned many awards like the "German-Jazz-Award" and the German "Echo". Even with this Band, he has played in the Theatre and so he turned a little bit into an Actor, too. He´s played over 6 times in the Braunschweig-Theatre and has earned some respect for his flexibility.
His Solo-Career brought him 4 Lp`s till today! A Golden-Record, Big Air-play and Chart-Positions, he did some music for the movies and has been in many big T.V.shows in Germany. He has played as the Support Act for the R&B-Band "Dru Hill" and has worked with many Artists,Producers and directors like House of Riddim,Yah Sesco,Germaica-films. He produced his 4th Album on his own, founded a studio with his Partner Christian Spilles and produced some German records, before they did fusion with "Itsblack-Music-Group" and Andre Vaternam, where they succesfully organise R&B and hip-Hop-events.
With his new created Band called "Jammin*Inc" he has published a free-album under Creative-Commons (download www.jammin-inc.de) did Support for Reggae-Artist "Gentleman" and has played at the Chiemsee-Reggae-Festival 2006 with some Big Acts like Burning Spear and Seed. Actually he is mastering the 2nd "free-downloadable" German-Hip-Hop-Sampler wich is called "38-Streettape". You will find it at www.itsblack.com on the 24.th of December 2006. In the year 2007 he will play lots of Live-Gigs and bring out 2 new Lp`s. Even you will see him on stagein the Theatre in Braunschweig again. So - watch out!
