Orama records is the label that lies underneath the Orama Entertainment entity. Orama Ent. Started in 2006 by Anita Powell (who is now the director of A&R) and Carlos ‘Los’ Powell who is Orama’s in house producer, and head of composition and production. Anita brought her talent, ambition and vision from being a graduate at London’s college of music at Thames Valley University in the United Kingdom and also experience working with BBE Music. Carlos who holds 15 years of production and engineering experience from working at Atlanta’s Darp Studios to Studio 204 in NY. Together their aspiration was chemistry that formed this independent label focusing on incredible independent artists of their own as well as collaborating with independent artists around the globe. Making music that moves and keeping the love for hip hop at bay INDEPENDENT.
