History of "my" bands, cooperations and projects, aka "Band History Art Lip"It all started with the very first cassette recorder that was built ever
at pre-teen-age (I had this first model) plus some standard tape recorders, with sound experiments in the
bathroom (for the reverb) and tin cans (where the mike was brought
into for a chorus-flanger-effekt). That was when I hadn't even reached
puberty. I also misused the parental piano.
I still have my first recording.
Years and literally decades went by.

Band History before 1992
In 1982, I met Stefan, a drummer and SF-Writer Colleague.
He invited my to my first session with the bass player Mattes.
In the classical , moisty bunker of course.
In the course of time following I played in ca 30 bands, sometimes parallel
in 2 or 3 at the same time. This included 2 years as a drummer
before focussing on other fields, mainly keyboards for realizing my compositions, planned at first as backings for my vocals and my trumpet playing.
An also important part of my compositions additionally started their own "life"s as instrumentals.
Beginnings (Rehearsal room bands)
before and until 1984:

Band history Year 2000 and later
At the end of 1997 I had not reached my self-set goal:
to be able to get my income by making music alone
over the course of 10 years.
Actually it had been more than 15 years.
I had played in serveral bands at the same time, I had given lessons
in trumpet-playing and vocal-singing. Still - the income was too small.
And starting in the midst of the 90s the DJs came
like a flood rushing over mankind.
People stopped listening to live acts and went
to dance their frustration away in clubs.
Underlayed by music "from the can".
So I stopped.
Okay - to be honest: they were intervalls. A studio job.
Some new compositions now and then.
Organizing my song archive and making sounds. Such things.
I also did some collaborations.
But - generally - I was in a kind of musical hibernation.
*
Then, in 2008, I started again more seriously
Made a lot of songs of my own, did new online collaborations.
In the year 2010 I also started doing live gigs again -
...and alongside made even more collaborations.

Wer nicht mehr auf der Liste sein will oder neuen aka hat: bitte Bescheid geben :)
Wir alle ändern ja im Laufe der Zeit die akas. Ich zwar schon lange, sehr lange nicht mehr: aber ich verstehe das.
