Zu der Phase als der Song entstand, war ich gerade dabei, meine alten CD's durchzuhören (z.B. von The Sweet, Kiss, Electric Light Orchestra...). Mein Ziel war es, einen Song zu kreieren, der nach dieser Zeit klingt. Da kann man heutzutage zwar keinen Blumentopf mehr mit gewinnen, aber ich hatte einfach Bock auf diese Richtung. Soundtechnisch ist das wie immer nicht zu professionell, das weiß ich.
Es geht darum, sich von seinen "Ketten" zu lösen, um sich seinen eigenen Weg zu finden und sich ein Stück Freiheit zu sichern, wobei man nunmal manchmal Kompromisse machen und mit wenig zufrieden sein muss.
