Came home today to the place where I stay
Where everything repeats without a single change
I see my mind becoming ill, everything is still
I know I should escape … as soon as I can
To leave all the sorrows, lack of money,
all the things I hate, all the things I daily see,
behind me when I’m gone
I just walk straight ahead,
Walk straight ahead, walk away,
Walk without a stop
So I…I tried to leave today the place where I stay
And everything was moving, nothing standing still
I could get used to it, I thought, but I don’t have a chance,
‘Cuz I must get to work … as soon as I can
To leave every moment,
Every thought I had, all the dreams
And destinies, everything
Behind me when I’m gone
I just walk straight ahead,
Walk straight ahead, walk away,
Walk without a stop
But I guess, I can’t get out of this cage
And I feel more and more like a part of this machine, and I can’t move
I can’t leave, the machine keeps me down
And so I’m thrown right back to reality
Came home today to the place where I stay
Once again, but actually I was feeling strange
I never thought about myself anytime before
But that’s what I need to do … as soon as I can
So I ask myself: What am I?
Why can’t I just run away and
Break through all conventions
I don’t want to be a part of this system,
This machine, don’t want to
Work as everyone in the world, just because every human does
But I guess, I can’t get out of this cage
And I feel more and more like a part of this machine, and I can’t live
I can’t breathe, the machine brings me down
And so I run away, run away from reality
Came home today to the place I can’t pay
For the last time I could pay the bills once more
I know I have escaped and have to pay the price, but
I have to live my dreams again… as soon as I can
To live like I always wanted,
free and not for other people
free and not for money, ‘cuz
I HATE THIS MACHINE,
I just want to live, live, live, live, live, live …
