Steinregen is a mix between a band and a soundsystem from Freiburg in Germany. The concept is to produce music by recording many friends and ourselves and to play live by combining digital techniques (arrangement with ableton live) and instruments played live like trumpets, trombone, violin, guitar, vocals, bass, percussion, accordion and many
more.
The Sound is a mixture between steppers dub, dub(step), reggae, jungle & balkan with electro-acoustic influences.
The concept of our productions is, to catch up many different styles from all over the world. Therefore we travell to other countries to record other musicians and styles. In 2010 and 2011 Steinregen Dubsystem travelled to southern France, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia to record the basics of the upcoming album.
