Across The Ocean
The sound of waves fills the air
Days and weeks are rushing by
Reflecting stars far beyond sky
A gentle whisper and solar flare
Live and die till the end of days
Here and nowhere else is paradise
All desires are forgotten in a trice
Praise and hallow the sunrays
Setting sails a long time ago
Willing to fight weather and foe
With mighty cannons below the deck
Wondering if they will come back
A few mice are ravaging thieves
But the crew is afraid of monstrosities
That they only know from hearsay
It makes no sense home is far away
After endless time on open sea
Starving to death and no way to flee
Scurvy is raging and barrels are dry
Desperate sailors they all must die
One man left he is praying to god
Receives a sign a dolphins pod
He follows them mile after mile
And is led to a wonderful isle
He was saved by good will
And living there still
In the light of the moon
Upon the blue lagoon
In the end everything comes to light but the sun is low
The wonder is done and his life it goes with the flow
He was saved by good will
And living there still
In the light of the moon
Upon the blue lagoon
In the end everything comes to light but the sun is low
The wonder is done and his life it goes with the flow
He was saved by good will
And living there still
In the light of the moon
Upon the blue lagoon
The sound of waves fills the air
Days and weeks are rushing by
Reflecting stars far beyond sky
