London’s Little Lake
1.Verse:
So she said she wasn’t going to give up
But now she’s given up at last
And she still seems so disappointed to me
Because she knows how much she’s lost
And how much it’s gonna cost to get it back
At least a part of what she’s had so she said
Chorus:
That she will not miss me that she’s not gonna wait until I see
No she won’t wait ‘til I surrender but at least she still remembers
When we were lying there awake while the clouds were building castles
In the night sky over London’s little lake
2.Verse:
So I said I would have stayed with her and then
I would have fought until the end
But I can’t fight now anymore ‘cause she won’t let me
No, I know how much I’ve lost
And that she won’t pay the cost to get it back
Because she took the final step when she said
3. Verse:
So we said that we would try at least but now
She’s changed the script for us somehow
And our lonely little romance is lost
But all I know is she is wrong and she was wrong
And she is going to be wrong
But I confess it made me sad when she said
Bridge:
But somehow I miss her
Somehow I wanna kiss her
Now yeah somehow I miss her
Though she left me here to bleed to death
Alone oh yeah it’s so hard because she
Ripped me apart and then she Left me in the dark alone to die
And she didn’t even wanna tell me why
