In diesem Sinne
Alles Gute und Grüße

I will not walk here much longer.
These shores are your shores, not mine.
This thing just turns wrong and wronger.
We used to chant – now we whine.
We had it good when we had it.
We have not had it for a while.
With nothing much recently added
What’s left is not worth our while.
When you claimed that you were not lying
You truly believed what you said.
Yet now what we thought was undying – our union, our cause – is plain dead.
If we want to stay true to ourselves
We cannot stay true to each other.
There’s no book I can find on my shelves on how to find new faith in a brother.
We use the same words but our meanings have drifted apart by two oceans.
I can’t see my cause in your leanings.
You refuse to be moved by my motions.
These shores are your shores, not mine.
This thing just turns wrong and wronger.
We used to chant – now we whine.
We had it good when we had it.
We have not had it for a while.
