„…und ewig lockt…“ – ja, was wohl?!
Dabei sehnt sich der Protagonist eigentlich zuerst nur nach echter Zuneigung, nach wahrer Liebe und tiefen Gefühlen. Er tut alles für seinen Lebenstraum, den er auf diese eine Person projiziert, auf dieses außergewöhnliche faszinierende Wesen, für welches er nahezu alles tun würde. Jeden Wunsch versucht er ihr von den Augen abzulesen.

Aber er hat es tatsächlich nie geschafft, sie zum Lachen zu bringen, er konnte sie nie wirklich berühren – hat sie ihn wirklich geliebt?

Somit waren seine umfangreichen verzweifelten Investitionen (materiell und emotional) gut gemeint, aber absolut umsonst gewesen.
Oder doch nicht? Zumindest kurzweilig durfte er ihre Gesellschaft genießen, und sein Bild klebt nun für immer auch in ihrer Sammlung der verflossenen Liebhaber – an ihrer „Wall of Fame“.
