So you can dance.

I've written on my Blog at http://macfearson.hyves.nl something about "my hit records". The question I asked was: Why are people listenening to some of my tracks more.

For instance on hyves.nl I have the club mix of Party in the sun which is listened to 110 times, which is much more than most of the tracks. here at MyOwnMusic this track was hit of he day, more than a year ago and therefore it had the same response. Here at MoM I know I have some friends and people I talk to which also sometimes play my tracks, so I can tell a litle bit where this hit record comes from, but on a site as Hyves......

Furthermore the remix of the track Ich + Ich - Stark (mark Loodewijk remix) is nearly listened to for 200 times on that site, which is dutch, Does Ich + Ich have such a fan base in holland that luckily they come to my page and click the track.... I don't know.

What do you think, what makes a hit record for a guy like me?

ps: For me a track of mine is already a hit record when someone listenes to it it and leaves a constructive review. Than it doesn't matter if it is a 1 star or 5 star. The idea that someone takes time to listen to my track is already ego-petting.
