Zur Abwechslung mal wieder eine Ballade mit einem schön traurigen Text über eine verlorene Liebe, wie das Leben halt früher manchmal so spielte...
Bei den Gitarren kam diesmal nur die Duesenberg Starplayer TV zum Einsatz, und zwar ausschließlich über das Tone King Imperial MkII-Plugin von Neural DSP. Wie der echte Amp ist auch das Plugin äußerst flexibel und kann von Kristall-Clean bis zu dreckig so ziemlich jeden Sound erzeugen. Dazu kommt ein genial einfaches Interface, man hat quasi den Amp vor sich und kann die Knöpfe drehen wie beim echten Gerät. Als Draufgabe gibt es noch einen Kompressor, Hall und zwei Overdrive-"Fusspedale".
Beim Bass kommt wie immer mein Fender Jazz Bass zum Einsatz, über HELIX Native mit einem SVT-Sound.
Das erste Gitarrensolo ist mit dem P90-Pickup der Duesenberg gespielt, beim Outro-Solo kommt der Humbucker zum Einsatz.
Ansonsten gibt es ein Wurlitzer-Intro (von Steinberg Vibrant) und ein ebensolches als Begleitung im Song, sowie die "Hollywood Backup Singers" von East/West. Alle Hallräume sind ebenfalls von East/West.
Eingesungen wurden meine beiden Stimmen über den Fredenstein V.AS. Preamp direkt ins UR22MKII Audio Interface, als Mikro kam ein Lewitt LCT440 zum Einsatz.
