Beat: J-one
Chorus: Jazzy
Rap: J-one

Verse 1:
On the search for a better place
On the search for happiness can you tell me where it is?
No matter what it may take
I’ll get there, like 7 billion people who run after
Success/ happiness, no I mean respect/cash
She wants some friends so bad
That she injects the drugs into her arm
Till her pain is gone
Her body is shaking
Her consciousness fading
Strange she is behaving
Where are the drugs her taking?
A moment later she left this place we call home
Instead of having friends in the end
She’s now all alone
Why am I telling u this story?
Failing is so close to glory
And money just an inventory
Eliminating every worry
That we got, well that’s what our society says
Just work hard cause money equals happiness
Ok yes, but here’s another story
He’s dad of three kids
He comes home late at night cause he’s working double shifts
When he got the news, his company would go bankrupt
He can’t believe the truth, who would feed the kids, who?
Lord he says, I can’t lose my job, only a few employees would get a new spot
Chorus:
You can’t catch luck, like you can’t catch the wind
Can you hear their voices in the wind?
Some do it for the glory, do it for acceptance,
Do it for their story, do it for their friends
No matter what it takes
We’re all lookin’ for a better place
Mo’ money
Mo’ problems
Mo’ running
Mo’ consequences
Mo’ friends
Mo’lying
Mo’ intense
Mo’ condolences
Verse 2:
Now he’s working even harder
Cause he gotta be apart of
The new company reunite his family
Only one goal ahead, he’s pushing it farther
Without any regard of his physical condition
Since when is it missing? Bringing back those happy times is his only vision,
But stress turned him into a wreck only one month later he died, because of a hard attack
And I guess that we all want to get to a better place,
But we can’t force it, when we get one sip, then we want more sips
Of that drink called happiness, but never forget
That we can’t buy luck, that we can’t by trust, that we can’t buy success
And when we got it then we still don’t want less
No we even want more, more then before
Listen, he’s the richest man in town
Rich, but nevertheless on his face you see a frown
Even tough he has money stacked up to the sky,
So high he could just go fly sky high, bye bye
But his hair is grey, wrinkles on his face
His life fades every day, decays a lil’ bit more
No way to escape his fate and theres nothing else to say life is too short as it moves toward
The end and he comprehends, that he doesn’t have any real friends
They just all pretend that they love him but they’re fake
They just wanna take all of his money like snakes
When he’ll lie in his grave
Now, he wanna get rid of this curse
He takes a seat at the table and places it all on number thirteen,
Keen he keeps his eye on the wheel as it spins and spins and guess what, number thirteen wins
2xChorus:
U can’t catch luck like u can’t catch the wind
Can u hear their voices in the wind?
Some do it for the glory, do it for acceptance
Do it for their story, do it for their friends
No matter what it takes
Everybody is lookin’ for a better place
Mo’ money
Mo’ problems
Mo’ running
Mo’ consequences
Mo’ friends
Mo’ lying
Mo’ intense
Mo’ condolences
