Die Band, bestehend aus vier jungen Musikern, entstand durch ein gemeinsames Projekt, das im März 2008 initiiert wurde. Rebeca (Vocals, A-Gitarre, Songwriter), Daniel (E-Gitarre) und Josua (Drums) hatten jedoch schon zuvor zusammen gespielt, jedoch als Teil anderer Formation(en). Schon unabhängig voneinander war ihr Interesse an Musik sehr groß. Sie fanden schon früh Gefallen an den jeweiligen Instrumenten, bzw. am Singen, was sie nun leidenschaftlich praktizieren. Ihre Teilnahme an mehreren Projekten weitete ihre musikalischen Fähigkeiten aus. In ihrer ehemaligen Band (Valiant Creed, Adin) hatten Daniel, Philipp und Josua schon 3 Jahre lang gemeinsame Erfahrung gesammelt. Rebeca war in dieser Zeit in diversen Bands tätig gewesen. Doch nun ist es an Fortifight ein gemeinsames Ziel zum Ausdruck zu bringen: Die Leidenschaft, die sie haben für Musik und für das Leben wollen sie anderen weitergeben und neue Perspektiven schaffen. The band, consisting of four young musicians, emerged through a common project which was initiated in March 2008. However, Rebeca (vocals, a-guitar, songwriter), Daniel (e-guitar) and Josua (drums) had played together before, but as part of other formation(s). Their interest in music was great independently from one another. In early years they started appreciating each instrument/singing and played/sang with a lot of passion. Participating in several projects helped them developing their musical skills. In their former band (Valiant Creed, Adin) Daniel, Philipp and Josua had gone together three years trough some experiences. During this time Rebeca practiced her abilities in different bands. But now it’s time for Fortifight to express a shared goal: they want to pass on the passion they have for music and life to others and create new perspectives. And this through an obvious means: their music!
