Groove City Knight
rush through the street the blinking lights of the mall
you can see his glowing eyes while entering the stores hall
precise in his movings he unlocks the door
he never knew what in life he would be good for
rushing through the streets it’s a good life
feeling the city’s heat it’s a good life
passing night after night it’s a good life
as the groove city knight it’s a good life
growing up in an orphanage he learned how to get his will
sad story with an apparently happy end if he could avoid his urge to kill
dead bodies following him into his dreams at night
he cannot fight it he often tried
he’s seeing the man lying on his bed
the glowing coal in the fireplace is covering the chamber in red
he didn’t know the man just once he met him on the street
and since then his hate grew deep
and he set the place on fire the flames reached the ceiling
he felt the warm blood running through his veins and he left with his sick feelings
he never came back to town of his insane breed
but sometimes at night you can see him rushing through the street
