BREWTALITY is the result of a Rock band founded by three schoolmates at the age of 14. Stevo (guitar, vocals), David (bass, vocals) and Olly (drums) had a dream - to become rock stars like AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Motörhead. These bands were the early influences of their project. In 2003, after a few gigs and some songwriting, the band recorded an EP called "Girl Power". A year after that Stevo left the band because of differences in musical taste. The band was looking for a suitable replacement, which were found with Manuel (guitars, vocals) and Ario (guitars) for awhile. Manuel left the band after just one gig and was replaced by Alex (guitar, vocals), while Ario left a few months later.
In 2005 the band now called BREWTALITY recorded their second EP called "Flesh" and started to build up a gig history by continually performing in the Austrian capital Vienna and the surrounding outskirts. In 2006 BREWTALITY stepped up to perform at festivals like "30 years of Arena Wien, "Sauzipf Rocks" (~2,000 visitors) and "Rock over Radenthein". From 2006 to late 2009 the band gained experience by playing live and loud with international acts like Asteroid (SWE), Blowback (SWE), Mother Misery (SWE), Korpiklaani (FIN), Texas Motherfuckers (SWE), Pungent Stench (AUT), Colour Haze (GER), Mastic Scum (AUT), Phinius Gage (UK), Cherry Overdrive (DK), Trashcan Darlings (NOR), Nebula (USA) and Valient Thorr (USA).
In Janurary 2010 Olly (drums) decided to quit the band, due to personal reasons. He was replaced by Bernd who left again in November 2011. BREWTALITY continued with Ben, with whom they recorded their debut album, titled “Giant Dose”. After Bens departure in 2016, Bernhard joined the band on the drums. The debut album “Giant Dose” was released on May 20, 2016 via Tempel Records.
