The Crib - Still alive

it's not even long ago/ when we were both
close to an overdose/ and everything was fine
but too much of the best/ can be harmful sometimes

don't plant your seeds in within my garden
can't you see it's mine/ still mine
go grab your shit, don't dare to bag my pardon

not as planned there's just another mess to clean up
not as planned it's gonna take a lot of time
but on the other hand/ is it too hard to stand
soon you'll get to know that/ you're the worst that i could find

with silent steps you've danced and i couldn't find my way out
and i've been standing still while you've been turning it all around
but todays another day/ and i'll forget the way
it felt when it was allright/ right before you've cut me out
