Noch etwas zu Entstehungsgeschichte:
Nach Nadine und Tom kam mir nun die Aufgabe zu, einen Song der Gruppe anzubieten. Zunächst tat ich mich schwer. Ich wollte von Anfang an ein längeres Stück machen. Meine erste Idee gab ich am 18.05.2023 an die Gruppe weiter. Das Stück war etwa 8 Minuten lang. Da wir uns nur einmal im Monat bei Skype treffe, fügte ich schon einige Vorgaben und Vorschläge bei. Die ersten Reaktionen waren "wer singt da?", "sehr geil, echte Herausforderung" und "der Song klingt eigentlich schon fertig". Nachdem aber alle mit dem Entwurf einverstanden waren, habe ich die Einzelspuren verschickt. Hier reicht mp3, da es ja nur als Vorlage gelten soll. Wichtig ist es, das Tempo und die Taktwechsel anzugeben, so dass die eingespielten Spuren jedes Musikers auch gut in den Song "eingehängt" werden können. Am 06.06. Hatte ich schon die Spuren von Thomas (Zitrone). Sie waren so hervorragend, dass ich nur wenig anpassen musste. Das war übrigens bei allen eingereichten Spuren der Fall. Dann kam Rainer mit einem Voiceteil hinzu. Kurz danach waren Heikos Spuren fertig. Es war Mitte Juni. Ende Juni kam das Intro von The Eye (Thomas). Ich hatte ihm gesagt, dass ich mir ein Szene vorstellen könnte, wo über schwere Padsounds zwei Menschen miteinander sprechen. Ich war begeistert, wie bei allen Beiträgen. Das Stück hatte nun eine Länge von 16 Minuten. Ich hatte an den ruhigen Part von Zitrone noch einen klassischen und einen elektronisches Teil angefügt. Für einige war das etwas überraschend, da sie sich an das ruhige Ende von Zitrone gewöhnt hatten. Bald darauf kamen die Spuren von Tom. Zuletzt kam mir die Idee, die Spur von The Eye reverse anzufügen. Es sollte eine schlüssige musikalische Klammer ergeben. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Zusammenarbeit hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht, auch wenn es mit viel "Arbeit" verbunden war.

Hier zum Entstehungsprozess des prägenden Sounds: Thomas montierte einen H4 Recorder im Radkasten eines SUV und ließ den Wagen ganz langsam einen Schotterweg herunterrollen. Die Aufnahme wurde anschließend in die Lemondrop Nanobox geladen. Mit Hilfe des Granular-Synthesizers konnte das "Wiedererkennen" aufgehoben und verfremdet werden.
