Erstes Lied, das ich 2019 geschrieben habe. Es handelt von meiner amerikanischen Familie, die ich nur in den Sommerferien für zwei Wochen besuchen konnte. Leider konnte ich nie wirklich erfahren, wie meine ganze Verwandtschaft so tickt und was in ihrem Alltag so alles ab geht. Facebook war die erste und auch die einzige Möglichkeit in Kontakt zu bleiben. Das angenehme Wetter war schön, aber auch nur für eine kurze Zeit.

A call on my phone, 20 minutes and I don't feel alone
Facebook brought us together,
lucky for subtropical weather but
this doesn't make my feel any better.
Never experienced all of my cousins' lives
I was just overseas for a quite short time
Why are we distant so far
I'm here with a separate heart
It's the two continents

but I'm still glad it belongs to me
