I’m not awake yet

A noisy kitchen and thanks for waking me up
Half alive, half sleepy, I yawn a lot
Do you want to have some ham or eggs on toast?
So many questions, that’s what I hate most

Before breakfast you need decisions
Before breakfast you need discussions
Before breakfast you need conversations
Before breakfast you need explanations

I’m not awake yet, I’m not awake yet

I open my eyes but I cannot see
You move your lips, but sorry I can’t hear
I walk around like a ghost in sheets
Cigarettes and coffee are what I need

There’s one thing that could get me awake
A little love before breakfast in bed
A little love can be a good start to the day
A little bit of love before breakfast is OK

I’m not awake yet, please come back to my bed
