Who can I ask where you are?
You seem so close, but you´re far
Life is not the same without you anymore

Who can I ask where you´ve gone?
I didn´t know you before
now that I see all the good and all the bad things you`ve done

We never talked to each other
Too late for crocodile tears
Too much silence between us
all those years

Who can I ask for advice?
Who´ll sing me lullabies?
When it´s cold and stormy outside
who will give me a place to hide?

Who can I ask when I´m unsure?
And who can open this closed door?
And who`ll give me a handkerchief,
when I`m down on the floor?

We were never so close
as at the time when you were broken
Nevertheless we were too proud
Too many words left unspoken
Who can I ask?
