In „The Devil’s Reject“ geht es um eine verlorene, verstoßene Seele, die weder im Himmel noch in der Hölle Erlösung findet. Ravenshield – The Rise of a Virtual Metal Legend
Ravenshield is a virtual heavy metal band forged in the fires of fantasy, rebellion, and thunderous sound. Founded in 2024 by artist and creator Danny Lombardo, Ravenshield was born not in a garage or studio – but in a vision. A vision of a world where music becomes mythology, and band members are not bound by flesh, but brought to life through art, story, and sound.
The band consists of four animated characters, each with their own backstory, symbolism, and power:
Don Dalo – The charismatic frontman with the voice of rebellion and a fire that never dies.
Motz Ledge – The lightning-fueled guitarist, marked by the Raven symbol, a warrior of riffs.
Ma Nikki – The fierce bassist in leather and neon, thunder in her soul and rage in her strings.
Jence Vandal – The war drummer, bald and brutal, whose beats shake the gates of Valhalla.
The idea for Ravenshield was born out of frustration and love — frustration with the predictability of the mainstream, and love for epic storytelling, fantasy worlds, and raw, emotional rock. Much like the legends of old, each Ravenshield song is a chapter in a greater saga — where warriors clash, kingdoms fall, and voices rise from the shadows.
Inspired by acts like Gorillaz, Manowar, and the worlds of dark fantasy, the creator wanted to build more than a band — he built a mythos. A place where fans don’t just listen to music — they enter it. Every member of Ravenshield has a detailed biography, a visual identity, and a place in an unfolding narrative. Their world is constantly expanding — across lyrics, videos, visuals, and live projections.
The first track to echo the name Ravenshield was "Purple Heart", followed by the dramatic "Macbeth", the emotional powerhouse "My Son", and the live anthem "Louder Harder Faster". With each release, the legend grows — on stage, on screen, and in the hearts of those who still believe in the power of metal to tell stories that matter.
In the end, Ravenshield is not a band. It’s a banner. A battle cry. A shield raised against the ordinary.
