Ich begann mit ca. 18 Jahren die ersten Songs zu schreiben und konnte seitdem einfach nicht aufhören. Es ist einfach die Musik, die in meinem Leben zählt... Ich hoffe, dass Euch meine Musik gefällt. Sehr häufig hört man Einflüsse aus dem irish- und scottish folk, häufig meine Einflüsse wie James Taylor (höre ich, Dank meines Schwesterherzes, seit dem 12. Lebensjahr), Joni Mitchell, sowie deutsche Liedermacher. So beknackt sich das anhört, aber mein Leben schrieb meine Lieder. Beinahe alles, was man hört, ist auch tatsächlich geschehen... Nunja, seitdem durchlief ich einige Bands, gewann mit der Gruppe Tiree 2003 den regionalen Wettstreit der Folkmusiker, ausgerichtet von der legendären Folkinitiative Oldenburg, spielte als Support von Dick Gaughan, LeClou, den Bleeding Hearts und der regionalen Größe Oldenburgs "Raven". Zur Zeit bin ich als Sänger und Gitarrist im Trio Cantlos tätig. Neben der Gitarre spiele ich noch Klavier, Cittern, Bodhrán und Tapdance. It's simply the music, that is essential in my life. I hope, that you like my music. You often will hear influences like James Tayler (who I started listening to´, thanks to my sister, when I was age 12), Joni Mitchell and a couple of german Singer/Songwriters. It really sounds greasy, but it's the life, that wrote my songs. Almost everything you can hear actually happened. Well, since then I went through some groups, won a regional contest with my former band called Tiree, was support of the legendary Dick Gaughan, LeClou, the Bleeding Hearts and the regional well known celtic folk group "Raven". At the moment I'm the singer of the celtic folk band Cantlos. Beside the guitar I play the piano, cittern, bodhrán and tapdance. Please let me know, if you like my music!
